Pretty Pink Posh - Xoxo Shaker Card

mercredi 21 janvier 2026

Hello there,

How exciting it is to be back with this shaker card showcasing items from the Pretty Pink Posh January 2026 release, including the amazing Xoxo Shaker die! I love shaker cards, they're just so easy to put together, and they're even funnier to build when Pretty Pink Posh has such an amazing shaker dies collection and the most beautiful shaker accessories ever. Speaking of which, the Love Is Kind shaker beads color palette is my favorite when it comes to Valentine cards, so I was very excited to create this Xoxo Shaker card with those beads!

I started off by cutting a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of aqua cardstock and added a cute pattern to it using the Layered Heart Lattice stencils along with distress inks: candied apple for the hearts and peacock feathers for the stitched details. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added splatters to my panel, and then did the same with peacock feathers distress ink. Next I cut another panel out of turquoise cardstock using the largest Pinking Rectangle die, added a word pattern to it using the Love Words stencil along with peacock feathers distress ink, mixed liquid stardust droplets with water, added sparkling splatters to my panel and then white splatters as well. Once dry, I attached my Pinking Rectangle panel to the Layered Heart Lattice panel using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck the whole thing to a matching card base.

Next I worked on my Xoxo Shaker following those steps:

1. I cut an Xoxo Shaker frame out of red cardstock using both dies from the set,
2. I cut a whole Xoxo Shaker panel out of acetate and stuck it at the back of the red frame using liquid glue,
3. Still at the back of the frame, I attached foam strips all around it, following the curves,
4. I poured Love Is Kind shaker beads and Sweet Xoxo confetti inside each letter,
5. I cut another whole Xoxo Shaker panel out of pink cardstock, added white splatters to it, and once dry, attached it to the foam strips to close my shaker.

I cut a large Eyelet Circle out of pearlescent vellum, attached my Xoxo Shaker to it using 1mm foam squares, and then attached the vellum circle to my card using foam squares again. As an extra greeting, I white heat embossed "You're a sweetheart" from Valentine Banner Greetings on aqua cardstock, cut it into a wavy banner using a Banner Greetings 2 die, and attached that banner on my Xoxo Shaker using a bit of liquid glue behind the fishtail ends.

[IG HOP DAY 5] Pretty Pink Posh - A Teddy Bear & a Cupcake for Valentine's Day

vendredi 16 janvier 2026

Hey there,

I'm so happy to be back with this sweet Valentine themed card showcasing items from the Pretty Pink Posh January 2026 Release. Such an exciting new collection of Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day products, ranging from ladybugs, shamrocks, shaker dies, and much more! These products will elevate your projects to a whole new level of fun and creativity!

Make sure to check my post on Instagram and hop along for more inspiration!

I started off by cutting a large Pinking Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I covered the stitched edges with washi tape, and then applied spun sugar oxide ink all over my panel. Next I used the Half Hearts stencils to create a beautiful and fun pattern on my panel: with the stencil A I applied worn lipstick oxide ink, and with the stencil B I applied candied apple oxide ink. I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters all over my piece of paper, I did the same with liquid stardust, and then the same again with candied apple oxide ink. I peeled off the washi tape and set my panel aside to dry.

I cut a 5,5" x 4,25" red panel, attached it to a white card base using liquid glue, and once my Pinking Rectangle panel was dry, I stuck it to the red panel using 1mm foam tape.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock, white cardstock and pearlescent vellum. I went for a huge mix & match of old and new things to create this card, so here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:

Bear Holder - bear (ears, nose, mouth, belly), white heart  Big Easter Cupcake - paws  Big Valentine Cupcake - cupcake wrap, cupcake, whipped cream, small roses and leaves  Box Of Chocolates - heart chocolate and wrap paper  Ladybug Shaker - heart cheeks  Valentine Holder Additions - large rose and leaves  Valentine Mug Additions - collar  Easter Mug Additions - bow tie  Big Christmas Cupcake - large bow  Stitched Hearts - pink heart.

I added liquid stardust splatters to the whipped cream, white splatters and liquid stardust splatters to the large bow, roses, collar, bow tie and pink heart, I added white splatters and matching distress ink splatters to the cupcake wrap paper and leaves, and added matching distress ink splatters only to the cupcake itself.

I assembled everything, starting with my teddy bear, his big googly eyes, large paws, cute bow tie and yummy heart chocolate. Next the cupcake with all the roses on the whipped cream and big bow around the wrapping paper. I attached the cupcake to my card first using 1mm foam squares, and then the bear using 2mm foam squares, leaving enough space at the bottom for my greeting.

I used the Love You Shadow die set, but picked only "Love". I cut the word three times out of red cardstock and stuck them all on top of each other to get dimension. Next I cut the shadow piece out of pearlescent vellum, stuck "Love" to that vellum piece using liquid glue, and then attached the whole element to the card using a couple of 2mm foam squares. I cut a Banner Greeting 2 out of pink cardstock, white heat embossed "Forever & always" from Valentine Banner Greetings on that banner, folded it on the score lines and attached the banner right below "Love" using 2mm foam squares again.

For the final details: I applied glossy accents to my Bear Holder nose, white blizzard nuvo drops to his heart cheeks, glossy accents again to the icing on the chocolate and to the word "Love" as well, and I picked a white heart confetti from the Sweet Xoxo mix and stuck it to the bow tie using liquid glue.

Lawn Fawn - Lots Of Heart Week 2026 - Valentine Bunnies

jeudi 15 janvier 2026

Hello there,

It's Lots Of Hearts Week at Lawn Fawn, and I'm super happy to be back with this lovely Valentine themed card featuring the cutest bunnies, all gathered to tell someone how much they love them. Make sure to check the Lawn Fawn Blog and comment on each of the daily posts to enter the daily giveaways!

Customers can enjoy 15% off select Valentine's and heart-themed items by shopping a discounted collection. No code is needed.

I started off by cutting a large Postage Rectangle Stackables panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I placed the matching stencil on top and covered my panel with spun sugar oxide ink. Next I used the Lots Of Hearts Background stencils to create a pretty pattern: with stencil #1 I applied worn lipstick oxide ink and with stencil #2 I applied candied apple oxide ink. Next I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters all over my panel, and then did the same with Liquid Stardust. And once my panel was dry, I attached it to a 5,5" x 4,25" Guava panel using 1mm foam tape, and then to a white card base.

Next I cut two small postage panels out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using a die from Little Letter, masked the stitched edges with washi tape, covered both panels with spun sugar oxide ink, and then used the Falling Hearts stencils along with worn lipstick and candied apple oxide inks to add lots of tiny hearts to my panels. Next I added white splatters and sparkling splatters to both of them, and when they were dry, I stamped a greeting from Henry's Build A Sentiment Love on each panel using Jet Black ink.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock (Tomato, Ballet Slippers, Guava, 80lb White, Kraft, Chocolate Bar, Paper Bag, Storm Cloud, Pearlescent), out of Pearlescent Vellum and Vellum, and as always, here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:

Build A Bunny - bunnies  Build A Critter Valentine Accessories - wings  Build A Critter Winter Accessories - bunny tails  Build A Critter Christmas Accessories - headbands  Build A Drink Mason Jar Add-On - bow ties  Tiny Gift Box Dog Add-On - bunny noses  Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag - smallest hearts, scattering of hearts  Little Letter - enveloppe, largest heart.

I assembled the bunnies using liquid glue and foam squares, folded the enveloppe and "sealed" it with a red heart. I cut a rectangle panel out of vellum using the 2nd Largest Stitched Rectangle Stackables die, temporarily taped it to my card using washi tape, and then stuck everything using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and liquid glue. When all the elements were attached, I removed the washi tape, added liquid glue at the back of the vellum panel, right behind the bunnies, enveloppes, etc. and stuck my vellum panel to the card.

For the final details, I applied glossy accents to the red hearts, heart cheeks and bunny noses, white blizzard nuvo drops to the dark pink hearts, and glued a red heart confetti from my stash in the center of each bow tie.

Pretty Pink Posh - Heart Card Base & Box Of Chocolate Mix

samedi 10 janvier 2026

Hello there,

I'm happy to be back with this Valentine card I had so much fun creating! The brand new Heart Card Base die set is absolutely amazing, and works beautifully with both new and old items, such as the Box Of Chocolates from the Pretty Pink Posh January 2026 release and the roses from the Valentine Mug Additions and Valentine Holder Additions die sets, both from previous releases.

I started off by creating the card base. I cut a large Pinking Rectangle panel out of aqua cardstock and used the Scattered Hearts Frame stencil along with salvaged patina distress ink to add lots of tone on tone hearts to my panel. I mixed a few droplets of copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add white splatters all over my piece of paper, I did the same with peacock feathers distress ink to emphasize the tone on tone look, and then the same again with liquid stardust for sparkles. When it was dry, I attached my Pinking Rectangle panel to a white Eyelet Rectangle panel using 1mm foam squares, next to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches turquoise panel using 1mm foam squares again, and then the whole thing to a white card base using liquid glue.

I wanted to use the Heart Card Base die set to create a Box Of Chocolates, so I cut a panel out of turquoise cardstock and worked on the inside first using the Medium Polka Dots stencil along with peacock feathers distress ink to add a fun pattern to the inside of my box, and then added white splatters and peacock feathers splatters as well. I cut a pink heart using another Heart Card Base die, added more interest to it using the Scallops Pierced Plate die, and then added white splatters and sparkling splatters. I attached my pink heart on the middle part of the Heart Card Base panel using 1mm foam squares, and then cut my Box of Chocolates pieces to create five chocolates. I cut the wrapping papers out of pearlescent vellum, the chocolates and icing out of vanilla cardstock and two different brown cardstock. I stuck the details on each chocolate using liquid glue, attached each chocolate to a wrapping paper using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck each chocolate to the pink heart using 1mm foam squares again. I applied glossy accents to the icing details, cut a red bow using a Valentine Holder Additions die, added splatters to it, attached it to the pink heart using liquid glue, and then glued a pink heart confetti from the Valentine Heart mix right in its center.

Next I folded my Heart Card Base panel on the score lines and worked on the outside of my box. I cut another Heart Card Base panel out of the same turquoise cardstock as the inside of the box, but trimmed it and kept the end pieces only. I created the same polka dots pattern and added the same textures, and when both of my half heart panels were dry, I attached them to the front of the box using liquid glue. This way, both the inside and outside of the box are the same. I cut another pink heart, added the same details and textures as the ones I added to the inside heart, and then I attached it to the front of my box using 1mm foam squares, but only on the left side of the box to be able to open it.

To decorate the front of my Box Of Chocolates, I cut roses and leaves using dies from the Valentine Mug Additions and Valentine Holder Additions die sets, added splatters to those pieces, assembled them and then attached them to the right side of the pink heart using 1mm foam squares. I white heat embossed "Happy Valentine's Day" from Valentine Greetings on aqua cardstock, cut it using the matching die and attached it on the left side of the heart using 2mm foam squares. Next I cut a large Eyelet Heart panel out of pearlescent vellum, attached my Heart Card Base to it using 1mm foam squares, and finally stuck the whole piece to the card using foam squares again.

Lawn Fawn - Valentine Foxes

jeudi 8 janvier 2026

Hi there,

I'm so happy to be back with this lovely Valentine card showcasing a mix & match of Lawn Fawn die sets to create a cute scene featuring three lovely foxes in a cloudy sky.

I assembled my three foxes using foam squares and liquid glue, and then worked on my Stitched Rainbow. I cut the base out of white cardstock, the different rainbow sections out of colored cardstock, and assembled my rainbow using liquid glue. I also cut a whole bunch of Simple Puffy Clouds out of white cardstock, added Liquid Stardust splatters to all of them and to the Stitched Rainbow as well, and then added copic opaque white ink splatters to the rainbow only.

Next I cut a Stitched Cloud Backdrop Portrait panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I covered it with spun sugar oxide ink, and then added a heart pattern to my panel using the Outline Hearts stencil along with worn lipstick oxide ink. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters to my panel, and did the same with Liquid Stardust. And once dry, I stuck it to a white card base.

I attached everything to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and liquid glue, starting with the largest cloud behind the rainbow, next the rainbow, more clouds, the fox couple and then the angel fox. Next I cut a whole bunch of hearts using Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag dies and stuck them all over my card using 1mm foam squares. I picked "Be Mine" from Critter Conversation Hearts, stamped it to the small letter, added a heart below it, stuck it in the foxes paws using foam squares again, and for the final details, I added shine and sparkles everywhere: shine to heart eyes using glossy accents, and sparkles to the hearts using white blizzard nuvo drops.
